Windows 2000

    My dad has a windows 2000 disk and i need to instal a new os on my compie. are newer installers able to run on win2k?

    I am concerned that my printers may not work, due to the fact that the ionstallers are from winXP era.

    You shouldn't have too much trouble. Many devices have the same driver for both xp and 2000. Now..win98 would be a different story.
