The old airport in Hong Kong (right in Kowloon ) was impressive with all the building right there! To get to my hotel by cab, from the airport was 5 minutes. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Old joke: A tourist in New York City asks the taxi drver, "What's that building?" "That's the Empire State Building, tallest building in New York." "Why did we pass it twice?" It seems like every flight in Canada passes through Toronto - some of them twice.
[A la Gilbert Gottfried] My least favorite is the Twin Towers. My God that was horrible, sorry. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Kennedy. They downgraded my 6 month visa to 3 and then I was caught by the same eagle eyed officer in San Diego coming back from Mexico.(said he should have believed me that I wasn't going to work ) I slipped back out of NY when my visa was well overdue.(they didn't even glance at it back then)
Within the U.S. None. I despise all of them. Outside of the U.S. I like all those nameless airports scattered all throughout Europe that service only a single cheap/crap airline (Ryanair, for instance). They've got nothing. No bathrooms, no water fountains, no amenities or distractions whatsoever. Just four walls, some chairs pilfered from a pre-school, and a door.
I forgot about Newark. Yea, that's awful. I don't know how some of you deal with an airport that doesn't offer a restroom. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
