Hmm. What would a farmer or rancher do if one of his prize cows was injured and became a mental or physical "vegatable"? Or would y'all suggest that the farmer keep the cow in the herd?
"Everyone is getting soooooooooooo emotional about this issue that it amazes me...and makes me laugh, too"
Consider this...Could it be because your suggesting not allowing mentally/physically disabled people to exist? And maybe because your comparing the value of a human being to the value of livestock? And maybe because some of us either have children or know children that are disabled and WE SEE THEIR VALUE and yet you claim they have no value to society.
Ya, I'd say people are apt to get emotional.
That's precisely why you're getting emotional; that's entirely my point. You aren't thinking mathematically and logically.
There isn't anything wrong with having emotions when dealing with people.
I hope you don't plan a career in the medical field. :bugeye:
By the way, have you ever done the math in support of your theory? Or is your theory based on what you assume the $$$ benefits would be?
This is precisely my point! Many people claim to be logical but they really aren't. Humans are emotional beings, and this is reflected in our culture and in our traditions and in our society.
It's dependent on a whole lotta things; economy, genetics, overall health, efficiency. There's no bonus to leaving them alive.
and... whats wrong with people mixing emotions/logic? I'd guess your here because your parents made an emotional decision to have sex....even though logically they knew a child might be conceived.
No bonus to leaving them alive? - only your opinion. Not buying it.
Try volunteering with disabled children, teaching them to read. If you don't experience a sense of accomplishment or satisfaction, maybe you should pinch yourself to see if your alive.
The only benefit you could list was an emotional benefit. Care to list any others? I mean, apart from live research, but emotions get in the way there too.
List some benefits of them not being here, other than $$$.
The gene pool; more efficient administration of human departments as we don't have to take them into account; less people = less people wasting resources.
Plenty more benefits than keeping them alive.
Many people "of value" listed on this website that have disabilities and have contributed to the benefit of mankind.
I would ask that you to look beyond your perceived immediate financial gain at eliminating disabled individuals and accept the fact that disabled people have, and continue to contribute financially, educationally, and artistically to our world. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Apparantly you didn't read what I said; I'm talking about the vegetables and those that are mentally disabled
compassion is such a pesky nuisance to administration
nowhere near as effective as less wasteful persons = less wasted resources ... something compassion may catalyze
Actually you appear like one of those guys who stands to gain quite a few benefits by being integrated with such people
Are you mentally retarded? Apparently so. You cannot have less people.....you can have fewer people. Less would refer to a continous quantity. e.g. "There is less water in the lake this summer."
You continue to demonstrate with almost every post that you fall into the category that you wish to be eliminated.
To increase enrollment in private schools.
To increase gap between have/have nots.
To fuck with the plebs.
1 people scared to make decisions...
= in my opinion your confusing them with people who are only interested in covering their own asses and will try and go with the heard/flock so as to secure their position and never be proven wrong.
2 mediocrity in schooling (no child left behind/pushed forward)
= somewhere one must drive a nail in to place a foot peg to start the first step.
this must be done at a cost of certain people.
where do you advocate that blood letting be made ?
the ignorant stoic teachers and schools (private AND public by sacking them and or closing them down) ?
the parents... advocating laws to dominate them and force them into better parenting ?
And so the best argument you can come up with is to correct a simple, small mistake in my vocabulary.
i would just like to take this opportunity to point out that most of you seem to be quite retarded to me.
why ... ?
not because of any grammatical issue , as much as one can pretend to use grammar while still using AmericaniSed spelling of the EngRish language but lets not get too proper as we may well be left with none but naught to debate with hahahahaha
why ... you ask ?(well i hope you would but im doubting the question rises over the top of your screaming ego.. lets press on shall we ?)
BECAUSE; (oh look a semi colon)
you all seem to be debating a funding issue with schooling.
class sizes are too big = under funding of staff levels.
USED TO COVER UP THE LACK OF FUNDING FOR MORE CLASS ROOMS
school resources are still on the whole at a technology level of about 40 years ago.
REMEDIAL AND ADVANCED CLASSES ARE DEFINED AS SOME TYPE OF SUPER DUPER EXTRA COST PRIVILEGE
alternative thinking styles are pretty much defined as religious concepts and debated by "sex fiend religious zealots".
HOW MANY GUEST PROFESSORS VISIT YOUR SCHOOL AND GIVE LECTURES ?
government and private investment into childrens schooling is disproportionately outweighed by expense in short life consumer disposable items and legal drugs and gambling.
don't let me stop you from your ranting on about retarded concepts of who and what retarded really is.
you cant even get proper sex edd i your damn schools and that's just basic biology.
what a joke !
"The aim of public education is not to spread enlightenment at all; it is simply to reduce as many individuals as possible to the same safe level, to breed and train a standardized citizenry, to down dissent and originality. That is its aim in the United States, whatever pretensions of politicians, pedagogues other such mountebanks, and that is its aim everywhere else." - H.L. Mencken
I notice it is the only one of my arguments that you've even attempted to mount some kind of a serious objection too.
Separate names with a comma.
