Since the last thread got deleted for my daring to ask the users here whether or certain sites were "hate sites," I'll ask in a different form: what defines a "hate site"?

Please be as explicit as possible.

    Very interesting question!
A hate site must not just be hating a subject alone but must also demonstrate hatred for the person or persons claiming that the subject being hated is 'good'. This is a hate site rather than merely an argument over the positives and negatives of a particular subject with no personal attacks.
A true hate site could only exist therefore if the webmaster theirself supported the hating of 'guests' to their site as well.

    imo

Nah, I disagree! Most people here just like a good debate. It rarely gets really really personal. Besides most people here are intelligent enough to let the 'hate' comments fly over their heads. Thats the beauty of a place like this - it attracts the thinkers rather than the meat heads.

    cheers
