    You're assuming only mods are capable of judging what makes a good mod. I don't think thats true at all. Industries are not the same thing here, as you are not "trained up" to be a mod.

    The vote system wouldnt work if it was a revolving door with high turnaround. But by making it sufficiently difficult to actually get rid of a mod (which I think is what concerns our mods here) the system could work.

    Exactly. This is a very reasonable system. No one is arguing for uncontrolled mob rule. It doesn't have to be that way.
