Saudi arabia is the biggest producer of oil, but it doesn't have the biggest reserves of oil. That's either Iran or Canada depending on if you use conventional oil reserves or not.

Some of my friends and I were talking about forming a "Christian Jihad Terrorist Group", hijacking a couple of 747 and flying them into that big black rock in Mecca and destroying the entire thing. We'd leave a message behind taking full credit for it, and making sure to let people know that the US government had no part in it.

And, thanks, Sam, we'd forgotten about Medina, so ...we'd steal a couple of more 747's and destroy it, too!

Anyway, on the main topic:

It is good to hear that the pro-American sentiment of Iranians that was claimed a few years ago, is still there. I'd personally prefer to avoid war with Persia and amicably resolve things. On a whole, Iran is an okay country, although the vestiges of theocracy are troubling.

I don't know what the Muslims of the world would do, but I know what OPEC would do.

Change their oil currency to euros.

I also know what this would do to the Sunni Shia fundamentalists moderates etc. Get rid of any and every problems between them.

No they'd do it because they depend on the Hajj for a part of their income, and without Mecca and Medina, they'd no longer be willing to absorb the falling dollar. And OPEC is not the Muslim world, barely even 15% of it.
