Keep practicing. I remember trying to pronounce that volcano in Iceland with some accuracy. No way.

Yeah. . . that thing. Is, um, an exploding mountain usually not usually labeled a "volcano"?

Eyjafjallajökull. I wonder what's harder to learn, Basque or Icelandic?

    Fraggle?

After reading the responses I'm giving some consideration to changing my user name to "Ug".
    It may make life easier.

Forgetting the insult you also slipped in....

Yes - and you continued to insult me...

Boo hoo. I have no credible reference to your ancestry, and honestly couldn't care less.

Don't insult me, and we'll get along fine.

By asking you if you were from Wales. You know, having a bit of a joke about it...

    You know what? Forget it.

Responding to you in regards to anything now makes me want to jam my fingers down my throat and purge.

Well, if it keeps you from typing...

You don't understand: we have no jokes to relay, really. We were all done. You said it; I said it. (Or the reverse if you prefer.) All neatly wrapped up. Still, I shall think kindly on the 'grand old time', however, when you considered me a fiend, and then didn't, and then did.

    Done. Thanks.

Indeed it is. The amusing thing is I recall a tv show showing a series of clips of news reporters around the world trying(and failing) to pronounce the name of the volcano correctly. They finished up with an American simply calling it the "exploding mountain". You guys really don't do yourselves any favours.

You really must learn to spell Mac.
    That second word is spelt "a w e s o m e".

I recognized it as Welsh, in which W and Y can be vowels, so I thought it might be the Welsh version of "Dewey."
I have already gone on record as opposing any sanctions for people who make nicknames out of each others' handles, so long as they are not obscene or obviously insulting in some other rule-violating way. However, I was overruled by the majority of the Moderators. So go ahead and tinker with somebody else's screen name at your own risk, Tinkerbell.

You say you don't want to insult people, and then you call us all Okies?

    Never you, sir!

I had considered you in all highest esteem as a "hick" or "rube".

I saw it more from the Irish origin...

I should just call you Dubh to be honest.
