    get thee to a lexicographer!!!

Noun. A male, often with respect to older men. Variations include gadgy and gadgie. (Mainly Scottish/ Northern use)

(sam's sentence actually fulfills requirements of grammar)

    1st test:
You're in the right place. Welcome, fellow cynic!

    2nd test:
You're a top grade cynic - in fact you've turned cynicism into an art form. You greet almost every piece of news with sneering contempt. Loosen up a bit.

    3rd test:
    Your Score: Quasi-Cynic
Fine, take your 39 points and get outta here!

You're getting there. Keep on questioning everything. Eventually, you'll find the truth in anything if you dig and dig until people are so fed up they'll tell you the truth just to shut you up. It's a hard road, but in the end, very satisfying.

Pretty much what I figured my results would be.

I agree, you should! It's all a pack of lies anyway so if you don't ask questions you'll never know the truth about anything.

Curry is a legacy of the British Empire on which the sun never set. You just won't give credit where it's due.

So too, is the civil service which is seven years behind with the mail.

At least I've stopped you banging on about religion, ha, ha.

You have potential. While you're not yet a full-blown cynic, you exhibit promising talents in that direction.

    LOL

Oh and my experience of faith has worked to make me direct my idealism toward God and my realism towards the World. My idealism is safe with God, But it is not safe with the leaders and people of this world. So i can be an full on idealist and a full on cynic at the same time. It's just that i have found safe areas for both emotional responses.

    Divide and rule? :bugeye:

Results so far: degree of fervent atheism directly correlates to degree of cynicism.

Cris did not post his results?

The mountain of mainstream lies is far too great to list. Schools/Universities are places of indoctrination just as much as the churches/synagogues/temples/mosques are. The TV lies so much I can't stand to turn it on anymore. Movies are chock full of so much political and religious subliminal(and not so subliminal) propaganda that I can no longer stomach the movie theaters any more either.

Did you know that people in my country actually believe that our nation was founded by and is controlled by Christians? The level of ignorance is almost hilarious! They observe the "In God we trust" on the money and think it refers to the Christian god! Oh well, whatever helps them sleep at night.
