I think if the world have to wory about some ones nuclear assest that should be Indians since they will not hesitate to use it against their neighbours or even China. Hmm....it does seem rather strange that extremist groups Afgahnistan would consider an attack during the Muslim holy month a slap in the face....since they themselves didn't stop their fighting (Northern Allience VS Taliban) in previous years during that month. It probably is more of a diplomacy thing so as to not piss off the rest of the Muslim community (in other countries)...I doubt we are worried about offending our attackers. I would venture that the Taliban forces would just use that extra time to do (chuckle) "damage control" or heck, do something...anything....they are crafty...to get us back somehow. But then again, I'm not a specialist in war tactics...so I can really say. Maybe to save face we might decide to not bomb for one or a few chosen days....I don't know...all I know is that you can't please everyone all the time. Would they stop fighting Israel on their holy days? Have they? I don't know. Would their "sleeping cells" refrain from attacking us during any of the holy days that are observed by all the varying religions represented in our country? Are we going to wait and see if they do so we can grant them the same consideration? Just things I ask myself....things I'll just have to trust our government to make the decision on. The humanitarian effort to drop food in the middle of our bombing seems rather weird...I know I wouldn't eat any food they dropped in the U.S. But then I'm not starving and feeding my dying baby sugared water, either.
