So as not to derail another thread:

At my request.
I asked for it to be permanent in light of her doing it more than once, not to mention abuse of mod privileges, etc, but the moderation here (with some exceptions) is, to put it succinctly, a little lacking in courage.

I'm a rather private person. I do not appreciate having my personal details posted online. I doubt many of you would.

Having a toe-to-toe with a person is one thing (I doubt she would be quite as "courageous" were we actually toe-toe-toe; call it a figure of speech). Her obession with mentioning my name in every thread she posts in at the moment is another.
Posting my name was a step over the line. It's as simple as that.

That is all I will say about the matter. I no longer have any interest in arguing with boys who can't see past their own tumescent pene. That, too, was a figure of speech; said pene would probably not mount any significant visual obstacle, tumescent or otherwise.

Insert obsessive rants and cries for her favour below.

Oh, probably. At least, if you're persistent enough.

Generally, moderators take quite a bit of abuse before they really crack down on that. There was one case where another moderator suspended a member, essentially on my behalf, because he was more offended by the member's outburst than I was. Not that I blame him; there are certain members I go easy on specifically because I loathe them. I'd rather err toward caution on those occasions, and it's reassuring to know I'm not hallucinating when I think particular people are out of hand.

To the other, people abusing James are usually given two or three chances to correct that behavior before the hammer drops.

Told all her information to another forum member who tried to use it against her.

For the record, I have never, in private correspondence or on these forums, given out Gendanken's name, address, or any other personal details which might lead to her being under any actual threat in real life.

I have been thinking of changing it, actually. I've used a few, most of them being a reflection of whatever self-image I had at the time. Things change.

Turth is, I used this one most recently because after a prolonged hiatus, it was the only one I remembered the password for.

I would make a terrible moderator. 3-day bans wouldn't get a look in, and stupidity would be censured. You'd lose half your membership in as much an amount of time it took me to get rid of them according to my own preferences.

Banning Gendanken (in her present incarnation) permanently would achieve some of that in one stroke, come to think of it.
