US will still be using the system of the 1800s and earlier. That has the advantage of letting the stacked Supreme Court chosen the president.

Money must have some privilege - if not why would anyone work or inherit* it, as it the usual case when a lot is in the hands of a few as in US.?

*It is rare that great forunes are made in one generation as usually "it takes money to make money." Bill Gates and perhaps 10 others in his generation in US are exceptions. Once families get great wealth, they can act together to insure the laws (especially the tax laws) favor the already rich. Great "progress" in this "tilting" has been achieved under GWB.

For example, lower capital gains taxes, tax rebates proportional to prior taxes paid, oil depletion allowance as the field becomes "exhaused", but nothing like that for the laborer whose body becomes exhaused with age, opposition to birth control measures and Barr's "plan B" (a moring after pill), etc so there will be a surplus of laborers, even if "out sourcing" of their jobs should end, etc. Now being considered is elimination of the minium alternative tax part of the IRS code and termination of the inhertance taxes (already usually avoided by establishment of trusts, anyway so not much point to that effort.) etc.

Under GWB, the gap between rich and poor in US is increasing, I think for the first time in more than a century. Perhaps the "good old days" of the "Robber Barons" is returning? Certainly Constutional guarentees and to some extent, democracy is being suppressed as that is essential if the age of the Robber Barons is to be brought back. Where are the debtor prisons?

Do you think that the construction of them will be by public bid or just given to some company owned mainly by a neocons, like BlackWater, Halliburton, etc.
