And we also know you are full of shit because CANNON BOOKS state that Star Wars lasers are in the 40 kilotonne range.

Good Game, QQ Soft, You loose go drink some chlorine.

Also, the saber in the movie EASILY cut through his armor. Also, stormtrooper armor is useless- their own blasters have caused more 'trooper fatalities than anything else. BY THE BOOKS (Shadow Academy) they hit themselves "more than they hit their mark". GG "seasoned" imperial troops.

And I state, yet again, that most force users are DEAD. Vader is a non-issue as he is DEAD. I say it again, and laugh in your face for mentioning it, HE IS DEAD! DING DONG THE BITCH
    IS
    DEAD

Ya can't use the force when yer dead

You know what else Trek could do to win? Hyper-Accelerate StarWars ships into planetoids via the SubSpace Entity (I forget the episode name and number, but the one that Threw the enterprise at warp 12 or some stupid number)

Since Scott seems unable to follow links...

BOOSH BITCH! Cube > SSD's. only the Exequor (which is no more) was bigger. Thsi proves Federation Weaponry > Wars Weaponry as it can utterly obliterate a ship 2-3x the volume and mass of a SSD.

Also- what would Wars do with the Caretaker array? or how about Temporal Stations? Being FROZEN in TIME might be a bit of a problem for Star Wars

In case you didn't know who Dan Carlson is, he is a professional film and TV show critic.

if you think you're judgement supercedes that of a PAID PROFESSIONAL... well... there are no more words to describe your ignorance.

So is this just the Empire vs st or is it all of sw vs st? If so send Darth Nihilus,
he eats planets with the force what good would the borg do against that?
And he isnt alive so they can't assimilat him. When he talks he drains life from all living things.

So if i understand you correctly. Warp is a bit like moving your ship between dimentions thusfore moving in some kind of vacuum. You would be able to fly trough warp space without the danger of hitting an asteroid or unforseen ship or someting else? Is that the reason you can fire a torpedo in warp because in fact your not moving faster than speed but your moving in a faster univers? Thats i think the only logical explanation that a torpedo can move faster than the ship. Is that a conclusion wright?

Ps; moving trough univers Stargate Rules (just a few seconds lol)

Kittamaru you seem to be intouch with ST tech. How would you take care of those little spidy things in Ep3 (don't know quite know their name maybe we could ask TW Scott

    )

Let's take out the primeforces out of the universes. Q and Sith/Jedi. then we have a fearce balltle on our hands. lol

ST ships are primary build voor exploration and space battle. But SW forces are overwelming on the ground. while te batlle is space may be turning in your favor. You have noway to defend you planets against the power off SW.

And don't forget the rebel alliance is trained in fighting against large armies.
It all come down to tactics and numbers.

the SSD is an executor 'class' meaning the're more than one. The're are more galaxy class ships in ST are there?

I read here a lot of technologie I hadn't the slightest idea of; LIke that web and stuff. But in ST doesn't the federation always prevale in the end? That means that the tactics of human are suprime. The're a whole lot humans in SW too.

I sure do...If you got an hour and a hundred ships Trek will find the time to get worried while pulverizing those sorry excuses for "shields" that fighters are always getting through...

God have mercy Star Wars has sorry tactics.

saquist that's the fun of sci-fi isn't it. Can you inmagine what computer you need to calculate your course in Hyperspace ? and then even .... there are so many unforseen factors in space like debri, blackholes, sunflares ect...
Even when you know where all asteroids are, the're allways can be a coalision between two so they are where they aren't suppose to be.

Warp seems to be better but still there are to much factors to ever be possible. Think about it. You move your ship a millimeter at the speed of light (warp 1) where are you gonna be 1min later. Damn fast computer lol
And if object from outside can enter the warp bubble the danger still lurkes

    yep I just love sci-fi

Again stargate wins this point. faster and safer but you need a gate so you have to go there first.

Who needs armor? Federation ground troops have on occasion used Personal Shield generators

Better than any bulky armor that's for sure

Also, warp is not a trans-dimensional jump at all- TransWarp is though. Warp is simply compressing space in front of you and expanding it behind you while reducing your apparent mass to as close to zero as you can get without exceeding the Laws of Physics (a volume with zero mass can not move upon it's own inertia - you ever notice Trek ships don't need a constant acceleration? Once they are at speed they use the engines just to navigate and keep the warp bubble stable, not for propulsion)

I don't know what it is about War and debris...but it's never a problem. That I think has to be a testement to how good Trek Sensors, Deflectors and Navigation is. Imagine traveling at 9,000 times the speed of light..2 billion kilometers a second...wow...and never have a collision incident.

Gate travel is better by far. Trek even recongnized this...they had there own star gate series in the books. The Demons of Air and Darkness delt with the Iconians gate travel and their return...

    But even better is spacefolding.

In space when a object moves and there's no gravity around it keeps moving in the same direction. An object that is still stays still. That's something that evrery child knows. But it seems that warp is more of a tube than a bubble.
What happens when a torpedo goes to the edge a ships bubble?
or does a torpedo create it a bubble on itself.
What happens when two ships come to close to eachother in warp. As the first ship is expanding the univers behind it, and the second ship is compressing that same space?

as an object accelerates it gathers mass. the faster it goes the more mass it accumulates. that "mass" is in the form of velocity. thus it's impossible to reach light speed with your mass increasing because you need more force to accelate and more fuel untill it becomes infinite..you'd need all the fuel in the universe to reach light speed and you'd still never reach it.

A torpedo use a warp bubble to reach the velocity threshold to move at war and sublight. The velocity treshold is the point when a warp field produces significant counter force within the bubble to cause movement to the rest of the universe.

    What a sec?
So ST books cant enter the game while SW books can?
How the HELL is that fair?
If we can keep only TV shows and Movies, you can only keep TV shows and Movies.
In that case, we win. If you want to remove the restrictions, you MUST include the videogames. The videogames are closer to canon than the books since they are produced by lucas arts...
And the fighters in the video-game series CLEARLY do not have the power of anything CLOSE to even a F-22 Raptor nowadays.
