Smartest person on Sciforums

I'm sure we've had such a thread before.
Which, IIRC, got shut down fairly quickly.

Maybe because there were (as there is now) too many possible answers...

How about a complete list of all members with a rating . Like Wiki page ratings .
It would be in the order of smartness. Then we would not be saying anyone is dumb . It could be implied the ones at the bottom of the list are well " Not as smart as those at the top of the list . Like grading at school but there are no limits cause some new member could come in at any time and steal someones chair . Like in band ( First chair Trumpet ) We could even have the middle be the bottom and that way a person could work to the very top or the very bottom. Scoundrels need incentive too. Al Capone thought him self great . Think about that

it would be an unwritten qualifier. We would know with out having to come out and say it . Kind of like how cronyism works .

Why do you think a raiting could be usefull anyway? Consider someone posting in Math section with a high raiting but poor understanding of math itself. The only reason I think a raiting could be usefull is to determine those who are just goofing or spamming but from what I know that's rarely ever happening in this forum. Well maybe to appreciate the work others had with helping in this forum we could assign some titels like "Helper" and a little start on the right.
