When you say western democracy do you mean like the one brought to Iraq and Afghanistan? Or the one practised in Gitmo? Or the one that mocks and ridicules other religions and cultures and prefers to consign them to reservations?

So bombing them for five to seven years does not make them democratically inclined? How very strange

Clearly democracy is more widespread than it seems.

Yeah, but not under democracy. Then, you call it collateral damages, so you can pretty much kill as many people as you like and no one will bother with details.

Too bad, then it could also invade and occupy other countries.

Neither. Instead, a Unity Government with a strong leader, but respect to individual rights while also maintaining morality in society. A free market while also ensuring the lowest don't go into shambles.

Sounds better than sharia and democracy to me:shrug:

Mr. Spock, western democracy is just that, WESTERN. For the West, it may be great, for the Middle East, it isn't. Nor is dictatorship/totalitarian.

Semitic Government should be as I described it. We don't need bullshit Western ideas.

Sure, western democracy has its flaws, especially in the USA. But don't let this become a referendum on the USA. How about we actually evaluate a real question without descending into YET another "Bash The USA" thread, much as SAM would like to make it in to.

Considering that a dose of western democracy notably under US supervision leads directly to support or establishment of "sharia" even in secular societies, and noting that Europe is not known for anything different today, if the democratic banning of the hijab or democratic movement to ridicule Muslims and impose selective freedom of expression on them is any indication, (after their own two world wars and a holocaust) I don't see what OTHER KIND of democracy you refer to.

and still nobody wants to live under sharia. it reminds me of cuba, el pachino, and scarface and how the cubans hate castro and prefer to live in the US.

What about my ideal form of government? Certainly more appealing (and more suiting for the Semites) than both democracy and sharia.
