I was not trying to be exact, most people know who the important members are, if the list is "finished" and someone thinks that someone else was left off, they can add them, or just PM someone who you know is on the list and ask them to let you know if it finishes and you arent on it.

I was not worried about that, just worried about people I would want on the list

The concept of the limit would enter into discussion here.
I.e. we can come as close to the limit of contacting all backbone members as we like, but never quite reach it.

No one has commented on the appearance of "Online Health community" replacing "intelligent forum", or whatever the wording was, at the top right of each page.

I was going to post about it in the member section when I found this thread. I figured it was small potatoes after the news of the sale.

yes invert, perhaps asymptotically approaching it can suffice =].

Actually, it has been commented on quite profusely.
There's even an entire thread about it.
It was in that thread where the mysterious 'Zox' first appeared and claimed Manifest Destiny over our land.

He's yet to stand up and present himself and his intentions which is even more worrying. The natives are getting restless (those few who have realized that something is happening, that is) and the lynchings might begin soon.

Although, what will probably end up happening is a mass exodus should this Zox character feel that it is in his best interests to alter the character of the forum to which he has apparently acquired dominion.

In a paranoid tone, I have occasional thoughts recalling a certain attempted hacking of the forum recently. This would be a strange thing to do with a hack, but who knows?

Maybe it's all just an awful dream?

I wish I was a derivative so I could be tangent to your curves.
Though I'd really only be tangent to a point on a curve. So I guess I'd rather be your Taylor approximation.

Errr... that's a good idea, phonetic. I also like the new avatar.

    re the 'list'

I kindly request that those members who already have my private email and msn details NOT to pass them to any other members and similarly I will not be 'sharing' your details without your permission to do so.

You already have the PM facility, which is relatively safe and secure, so why on earth do you give out your more private details?

One has to wonder. And then you hear complaints about stalking.

If somone wants to chat more about a point it's much easier on msn, and the details arn't personal in that I am in danger, I just don't want uninvited visitors msnning me. Some don't mind sharing details publically and there are many threads on this forum for exactly that, members also put their contact details in their personal profiles. Most do in fact. My pm box gets full quickly and I lose useful bits of info when I have to clear them out. Like a certain radio link that a certain person needs to resend please.
