(damnit, Fraggle. Don't tell me you've heard of this? Give it away and die) (and no, its not planted. Theologians are nowhere near as brilliant as mathematicians)
Ok, done and did. You picked beginnig. That lands you 9 words away at 'the'. This lands you 3 words away at 'without'. This lands you 7 words away at "upon" This lands you 4 words away at 'the' Which lands you 3 words away at "the" Which lands you 3 words away at "god" Which lands you 3 words away at 'the' Which lands you 3 words away at 'the' which then finally lands you in the 3rd verse, the stopping point, landing you on GOD. Try it with any one word in the opening phrase of In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. and you will always, always land at God once you reach the third verse. Proof, I say, that God exisits.
If that is the point of this, you might have wanted to say so in the opening post. I was expecting it to magicaly make sensible sentence.
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. in leads to beginning which =9 (which leads to the) the leads to created which is seven which leads to the same word as beginning. God leads to heaven, which is 6 and leads to earth (second verse) and leads to and the leads to the earth leads to without. After first line, we only have 4 possible starting points in the second verse. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. and leads to was, to and, to darkness, to and, to of, to moved, to the the leads to without, to upon, to the, to the, to god, to the earth leads to void, to upon (see previous) without leads to upon. (see previous) So ending the second, they all converge on the last the third word after is god. Makes sense... Kinda neat though..
yes, roman numerals. as stated the question is XI+I=X which would be 11+1=10 which isn't true. if you hold it up to a mirror (or stand on your head) it becomes X=I+IX or 10=1+9 which is true. get it now?
10 = 1 + 9: and? So what is the riddle? A riddle is a mystifying, puzzling or misleading question that you can't explain. In your inititial post, you simply asked us to follow a sequence: nothing puzzling?
Valich, For Christ's sake, man! Stop being such a fucking fool. Read the goddamned thread or stay the fuck out of it. 10=1+9 is the answer to a riddle. Or rather, it's the explanation of the answer for another who is almost as dense as you are. Do you ever get tired of being dumb?
I've read the entire thread from the beginning and don't see the riddle. Did you ever think of taking a bar of soap with you in the shower to clean your mouth out with? I'm thnking that this might clean and cure your vulgarity mental problem.
Well. Sucks to be you then. Here it is for the comprehension impaired. Mephura then answered it. As did Roman. Then whats-his-nutz said he didn't get it. Mephura then explained it. You then poked in with your 'duh-derr' and I popped in to give you the ridicule that you deserve. And. No. I don't feel the need to wash my mouth out with soap or what the fuck ever you think I should do. I have no fucking problems with profanity. Maybe you should clean your skull out with a pickaxe. That'd probably solve the problem a lot better than me 'dumbing it down' for you.
