I got addicted to porn in college, and it's carried over into my life now. I realize that I've got to give it up. Porn is bad for some people. I definitely think it's bad if it's used as a substitute for the real thing...real human interaction. This is sadly true in my case. I started to think about the girls that are doing this and the complete disrespect for women that I must be harboring by watching this trash. I'm telling you right now, if you watch to much of this stuff it will deaden your soul. It will destroy you. I am still young, and I know I can bounce back from this, but I've taken a huge hit. My friend in college a couple years ago jokenly warned me about watching this garbage. He had been through the same thing. But I guess everyone has got to learn for themselves. I think you're right, James. People are very impressionable, nevermind children. And while I have nothing to back this up with, I suspect that boys (and girls) are looking at porn at younger and younger ages. We've seen the effects and we've all heard about how TV and movie violence affects our children. After doing a research project for it at school, it's been hard for me to conclude that violent TV and movies doesn't hurt our youth.

Now we are witnessing a generation where more and more kids are getting to be computer apt at exceedingly young ages. And there's hardly anything in the way in order for the children to gain access to purely unadultered information. Parents monitoring their kids' Internet activity? Yeah right! Not with this generations' inordinately permissive and submissive parents.
