It seems that people, people meaning me, always get looked down upon for admitting that physical traits are important to them. My female friends especially call me shallow, saying I should be attracted to their personality and that looks don't matter. I don't get this at all. Why? Why is it so wrong to think that looks are important? It's like I'm the devil all of a sudden. At least i'm honest about it. Plus, at least it's changeable. With personality, a person is who they are...I don't think you can change your personality without acting phony...unless you're just mean I guess. People can change their looks though. You can groom yourself, dress better, work out...implants/facelifts and all that are out of the question in my mind, but if somebody thinks that is right for them, then fine. But why is it so bad to care about looks? Why shouldnt they matter as much as anything else? PS-Oh and this brings me to another question. Why do women spend soo much money on clothes and make up and all that to look good when working out is free and will make them look a sooo much better? I've never understood that. <3 girls that are in shape. Doesnt it work both ways? Don't girls love guys that are in shape too? I don't mean huge and muscley, but just in shape. I thought it was the same for everyone.
