Exactly. I get heartily sick of people, usually older people, just waltzing up to me and demanding to know why I got my piercings and what is wrong with me that I feel the need to put metal in my face and body, as if I owe them an explanation for what I do with my private life. Yup, apparently, a few ear lobe piercings are normal, but ones in your nose or lips are evidence of mental illness. I can only assume they figure that, since I am a young person, I don't understand boundaries, therefore it's okay to invade my boundaries. They surely wouldn't do it to another 40 or 50 year old. It makes me sick. If I behaved so invasively to them, I'd be a "rude teenager", but since they're adults, they can behave how they like to me. Fuck people.
I’ve often wondered about why some people have such a strong reaction to piercings, I mean just a nose stub or bottom lip? It's nothing! Personally I think tongue and lip piercing is a bit stupid if it interferes with the way you speak. But it depends on where? I also think intentional scarification and stretching holes in the skin to be a bit freakish, anything that preeminently damages your body is not good. But I think piercing if its done well can really look hot.
Everybody is different. I'm pretty sure people react the same way to certain clothing styles, religions, moral decisions etc. We all have different ideas of how to live life, it would just be a lot nicer if people knew when to keep those things to themselves.

I personally think piercings are awesome. cock piercings with vibrating tongue bars in them are fun haha. Ive only got my ears pierced, but I plan on getting a few surface piercings, lip and some other ones ;p cant just yet though, because of my job.

I guess it's not hard to ruin a good pair of breasts --- I got my ears pierced once but they didn't have big pirate earrings like I wanted so had to go with some lame little silver rings. After a few months one fell out, and a few months later the other one fell out. I never got them replaced as they were really annoying. Always getting caught in branches and hair and other things. I like rolling around and burrowing through stuff so any piercings are just annoying. There is no great reason to get them or not to get them. There definitely is no great reason for most people. I got them because I was bored and figured I should try them out, that's all. --- I also have two big mushrooms on my arm. When I did it, I thought of one major message I wanted to send myself in 30 years and that was it.
I just lost my eyebrow piercing, it got inflamed and after I took the thing out to clean it the "duct" tightened up from swelling and I couldn't get the bar back in. I'm gonna get me two more lip piercings to compensate, though. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

i wanna pierce 3 personal spaces but i am a chicken shit about it. hahaa.. but I wanted to pierce my eyebrow, but I am unsure about it.. I have wanted it for awhile, but it takes me awhile to think about things like that.. my labre piercing was a moment of weakness, and it ended in migraines untill I took it out. but I have reg earing piercings, that I dont wear anythng in because they are uneven.. but I have another hole in my cartilage on my left ear. thinking about piercing my ears again so that I can wear earings again since i have alot! haha!
