How the hell are dogs more useful than cats? What honestly could they do in the city that would benefit man (aside from jobs in the police and rescue teams)? Maybe they have some use in the country however I do not live there. They also require a lot of maintance and are really slobbering drooling morons despite how cute some breeds may very well be. Cats are self-contained and vastly more intellectual. They clean themselves and their saliva has a natural deoderant. Mice? Dead, bugs? Dead. You don't even have to take them out to use the restroom like cats truly are the better pet.

I never said their lives don't have equal value, I'm just saying Cats > Dogs.
