NY Resolution - 'Redemption' month

Dear SciForums members!

As a part of NY resolution, I decided to offer a so called ‘second chance’ for comeback to several long standing members that have been banned permanently in the 2007.
I will offer them to return on a 'Redemption' month and to gain status of SciForums member again.
That will depend on their behaviour and contribution during the following month.

This 'Redemption' list includes following members:

Theoryofrelativity
Dr Lou Natic
The Devil Inside
darksidZz
perplexity
Singularity
Imaplanck.
Wanderer
Reiku
IceAgeCivilizations
thedevilsreject
crazymikey

* spuriousmonkey's ban will be lifted too, but he won’t be under ‘redemption’ treatment.


Users mentioned above will be allowed to return under following circumstances:

• They'll be on 'Redemption' period for 30 days (one month) starting from the day of the ban lift, i.e. today.
• During that month, they shouldn't make single offense toward community or they'll be permabanned immediately. ***
• When one month passes, they will have same privileges as other SciForums members.
• During the 'redemption' month I will be in charge for returned members, i.e. I let them in, I’ll keep them inside or throw them out again, depending on their behaviour
• All members mentioned above will receive PM after I lift ban on their accounts, so they’ll know they're active again. So, if their accounts aren’t active during ‘Redemption’ month, they’ll be returned to the ban list.
• If any of mentioned members disagrees with my decision and offered treatment, then please let me know via PM and I’ll deactivate your account.

Most of the really cool people don't post much anymore or are gone. I doubt they will come back. The moderation around here got WAY out of hand to the point of censorship. It was ridiculous. If a mod disagreed with what you said he: flamed you, personally attacked you, deleted your posts, warned you about nothing, threatened you about nothing, got you VERY agitated, and then banned you. It wasn't worth it. It got WAY ridiculous. :rolleyes:

You cannot be serious! Why would you want to bring back these trolls? What an utterly stupid idea. :(

Sciforums is noticeably better without them. If anything we need many more permabans. Now we can look forward to the racism of Dr Lou Natic, the endless stupid polls of darksidZz, the physics trolling of Reiku, the endless creation science trolling of IceAgeCivilizations and much more. Yeah, good one Plasma. :rolleyes:

Please reverse this decision.
