My PC sucks :'(

    If you're having a hardware problem, overclocking should be the last thing you want to do. If your RAM timings were at their default setting, I wouldn't have changed them.

    Is it possible that your PC is shorting? I had that problem but for me, I couldn't even get the BIOS to boot up let alone get to Windows. The symptoms all sound the same though. Adding washers in between the standoffs and the motherboards fixed it permanently for me. Someone who's more informed can you give a more confident answer.

    Voodoo debugging, continued...

    I moved the RAM module from the slot furthest away from the CPU heatsink back to its original position (I was worried that it would fry from the hot air; I should still try to shield it with something). So far it hasn't crashed, yet...
