Hmm. From what I saw online, it appears to be like a class they have at my school called ITGS (Integrated Technology in a Global Society) and it is pretty much a combination of science and computers, without math, and deals with different issues surrounding modern technology, as well as past technology. Multistrand appears to be much broader, encompassing other topics such as the environment and conservation. I don't know if that is all of it, but it's all I gleaned. :m:
Oh, and regarding biology, it seems as though you apply your knowledge of Biology to the environmental issues, using what you know about, say Mendellian genetics, and apply it to the current problems facing the environment currently. :m:
