Obviously the increased space is a direct result of outsourcing to India!

All html-mail sucks, as long as theire not adding pop3 it's no good. Besides, you don't need much mailbox-space on the account for pop3 anyway, since it all gets downloaded to you computer anywhay.
I'm using Gawab, and am happy with it - pop3 and free.

Actually the change that was suppose to happen in July has already happened ... and that was an improve virus protection system for on-coming/out-going emails.

And on a side note, the 20 Gb storage for MSN Plus users have already been implimented. The only thing left for MSN to do is to bump up the limit for users of the free version to 250 Mb (which won't happen till the fall).

i got a gmail account a week ago, so im steadily migrating away from my hotmail account. using the gmail web mailbox u have to look at ads and stuff, but ive got a program that is basically a tiny webmail server running that takes my mail from the gmail servers and delivers it to my outlook personal folder

so now i dont even have to open the gmail website or look at those annoying ads. plus i get my 1 gb storage, all fro free!

btw, that program is called "Pop Goes the GMail (PGtGM). works very well.

Hotmail seems to have decided to put my inbox junk filter on high without even asking (it did it to my sisters too, so I'm guessing it wasn't just a mistake). I was so annoyed, I get loads of emails from people I don't have on my favourites/contacts list, I don't want them all deleted or in junk for me to sit around and fish out, and if I did want junk filter level high, I could've done it myself fine.

    So what was that about?!

Hotmail has changed people's settings without warning before too. People weren't too happy about it then either.
