Most Photographed thing in the world

What do you think is the most photographed thing in the world? I thought "the US President"... they take hundreds of photos a day of him- but he is only President for 4 or 8 years.

Is there anything else more photographed? The Mona Lisa? The Eiffel Tower?

The Moon I would suggest is the most photographed as a single unchanging body. The main reason for suggesting it (the moon) is the fact it is seen everywhere around the world at some point or other.

I would suggest you were on the right track with 'US President'. I would bet that the most photographed subject is 'people'. I realise that's somewhat of an amorphous answer in that no single person is the most photographed thing, but people as a whole surely would be.

I think coz the US president is replaced every 4 or 8 years (like the OP said), it's probably Princess Diana (used to be), coz even my mum who doesn't know how Bush looked like, knows how Princess Diana looks like :p Or otherwise, perhaps Michael Jackson.

I agree with you though, if it is general object, firstly it's people, secondly it's probably cats because they both are a little narcissistic. :p Or perhaps trees.. or buildings..

Mayeb the question should be refined into most photographed face, landmarks, etc

First we start off with the human figure, then we can pinpoint it down to the human face. Anything else is just random objects, trees, buildings, streets etc.

ahh, correction there is the most viewed photograph. Few of us know anyone that photographed those things.

People are not thing. But if we are talking people, Lindsay Lohan...

Otherwise it is the sunset and sunrise....

does the most photographed thing have to be visible in the picture?

and if it does, then it's obviously water, followed by a close 2nd which is dirt

Scots Guards in London, those boys get snapped constantly!

Monument or landmark....statue of liberty perhaps?

The Eiffel Tower is the most photographed building in the world. But as for the most photographed 'thing', I have no idea.

I dont know about the most photographed thing in the world, but I know the most reproduced photograph in history is this:

I would guess the moon. Think about it, it's the one attraction that everyone can see no matter where they are, it's always beautiful. I could definitely see there being millions of photos of it made by amateur photographers.
