Having sex out of wedlock may be considered immoral by some, but I wouldn't say it's the majority opinion of Americans.
Do you believe that having sex out of wedlock is immoral? If so, why? Is there some kind of harm involved? Who suffers?
Is it? Or is it a sign of different cultural standards? Or different living conditions? Or something else?
But forget that for now. We need to get to step one first: establishing that extramarital sex is immoral in the first place.
People having sex when they are not married hurts the whole of society ... how? Where is the harm?
I am saying a clear majority of welfare recipients in the US are white. More than 50%. Even if you restrict "welfare" to certain kinds of handouts meant to meet a need, and not others.
The data I used were the percentages you posted, in the context of there being eight times as many white people as black people in the US.
From watching Vice , Russia has the most divorce rates , of any country .
What does the colour of the population have to do with it?
Is there a problem with people of colour having children?
Stop attempting to derail the subject morality and welfare .
Here try to shoot down this : Second generation welfare people are more promiscuous .
I disagree. Two people who decide to have children together without being married can be quite moral. A married couple who does not have kids and cheats on each other are quite immoral.
I have never seen any proof of that.
From my own personal perspective during high school, the more devout the Christian woman - the more crosses she wears - the more promiscuous she is.
And yet you probably fret about gays because you think they reproduce less.
How about this I can assert without evidence: Stressed mammals have increased reproductive rates. Being poor is stressful. When you cull a local coyote population, the remaining animals have more babies.
Would you like if your sister or brother without been married go on and screw around and the bring you home syphilis or gonorrhea . If you don't mind good for you but I mind,
Is that good that a woman have children from several irresponsible men ? How do the children feel about it? In such case is the man responsible for his offspring support or should the government support the children ?
Provided they rise the children and don't ask the government to support them
I don't question that , I did not wanted to bring religion into this.
Just keep them away from young boys.
You are the one who brought it up. I am seeking clarification. What does colour have to do with any of it?
What are welfare people?
By more promiscuous, do you mean have more sex? What does welfare have to do with that?
What we do know is that almost all Americans have sex before marriage.. Welfare or not.
Data from the 2002 survey indicate that by age 20, 77% of respondents had had sex, 75% had had premarital sex, and 12% had married; by age 44, 95% of respondents (94% of women, 96% of men, and 97% of those who had ever had sex) had had premarital sex. Even among those who abstained until at least age 20, 81% had had premarital sex by age 44. Among cohorts of women turning 15 between 1964 and 1993, at least 91% had had premarital sex by age 30. Among those turning 15 between 1954 and 1963, 82% had had premarital sex by age 30, and 88% had done so by age 44.
Before you think that this was because of the 'sexual revolution'.. The study also states this:
but even among women who were born in the 1940s, nearly nine in ten had had premarital sex by age 44. Among those who did not have sex at all during their teen years, eight in ten eventually had premarital sex.
And this is in general.. Not in regards to who is on welfare or not.
What the hell is wrong with you, dude?
To the one, his sister's sex life would be her business and certainly not his.
To the other, condoms.
No, seriously, what the hell kind of question is that? Would you prefer if she contracted an STD while married than not married?
And why would she 'bringing it home to her brother'? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
What the hell kind of relationship did you have with your sister, that makes you believe this is an appropriate question?
Why is your or his sister's sex life your business to the extent that you would mind if your sister brought an STD home to you? Again, what the hell kind of relationship did you have with your sister to even pose such a question to another human being, as though it was normal?
If she wants to have those children? Isn't that her business?
What is it to you?
I don't know.. I have never walked up to a child and asked them if they would have preferred if their mother had not had sex with their father and had them..
Both parents are responsible for their off spring and welfare exists to help people survive, whether they have children or not.
Support who? The children? Welfare is not and should never be dependent on marital status. What? You'd want to have children born to "unwed" mothers starve? What is wrong with you?
Welfare is there to help people, regardless of their marital status.
Says the guy who just asked another guy if he would mind if his sister brought him an STD and then declared he would mind it if she did bring him an STD..
Frankly, your homophobia is not welcome here.

What does that have to do with it? Gays aren't child molesters any more than straight people are.
As for me and my family I would not like to live in a society that would be composed of people like you
for me you are a person of low morals . For peoples of such morals in the 1500 have syphilis was was like decoration.
About brother or sister bringing venereal diseases you misconstrued .
I do not have to agree with your preferences in order to be on this forum.
lol Could you explain a bit more, I am lost.
I posted what is morality for me and she posted every activity contrary to mine , so what is she tome ?
I would not like to rise my daughter or son in her manners of thinking .
The world isn't perfect. But I don't think you can meaningfully state your morality without introspection.
It's almost like you want to say masturbation is a sin.
Priests, on the other hand . . . .
There is a danger in a immoral society. Spreading diseases , we have gone through Chlamydia, HIV Gonorrhea is on upswing, this are multipartner diseases and to my mind they are due to immorality.
