Part of the feminist movement, in demonizing men, has made out women to be more than what they really are- dirty apes.

In general, a person shouldn't trust a woman because she's a person. In particular, a man shouldn't trust a woman precisely because she is a woman. Her array of manipulative tools, due to culture or otherwise, is of a particular set. One must be wary of the snares a woman sets.

Awwww fuck, I sound like dragon.

My problem with the feminist movement is that it removes common sense from the nature of humans themselves. I'm pretty sure that I've talked about this before, but there are some things a woman shouldn't put her body through because it's not built that way. It will do irreparable harm for some women to be a bricklayer, or work the jackhammer/break concrete. To the back, the hands, the arms and other parts... but the feminist movement would tell you that you could, and even should if you want to. That you can be anything, no limitations.

I believe everyone should be judged on their own individual nature. I don't trust anyone until I have the reason to trust them, but I am not suspect of one side more than the other, even though in my experience and throughout my life, men have been far more trustworthy than women have in general. I do get as angry as a male friend would when I see a guy who's whipped to the point of losing himself, and I do get angry at women who act like princesses to get what they want... they do know what they are doing. Likewise, I get mad at my slutty male friends and guys who are cheating on their women too because that's not honest.

Women should never use their body to make anyone else do what they want because that would be dishonest. Our society has made women feel like they can and should do it because supposedly, men still oppress us. That our beauty should dictate how a man acts towards us and men should worship us. That they should to anything and everything to empower themselves over man. That men who don't fall for our feminine charms are wrong and somehow bad men. That's my problem with the "feminist" movement. We are already equal. Drop the games and the dishonesty, and we are. I'm equal, and have always been equal to any male counterpart I've come across. I've never felt that I wasn't, or made to feel like I wasn't.

But I've been called a misogynist before, simply because I admit that women can be very dishonest and because I don't believe in the feminist movement. I think that men can be very dishonest too, and I don't think they are being oppressed by women either... does that make me a misandropist?

(And you don't sound like draqon... he would have followed it up by some weird poetic bit about how beautiful and soft women are and how they should come to him)

I'm with Marie on this one. My SIL is an outstanding officer at a county jail. She looks like she'd suck because she's a slim, gorgeous blonde. However, she's strong and great at her job and can easily (and has) handled people twice her size. Feminism allows people opportunity. It doesn't promise anything. Saying you "don't believe in feminism" as a woman is absurd. Feminism is why you can vote and have an abortion. I see those as good things.

All you pussies who are so down on feminism and how it's making all the poor men cry into their beers just go and have a peek at the situation of women in Afganistan. Just for a brief reminder of how it 'used' to be in your back yard.

That fluffy fella you're sharing your beer with laughing at the bitches who shout date 'rape' would drag you back there quicker than his destop link gets him to his favourite kiddie porn site if he thought he could get away with it.

In my country less than 40 years ago a woman couldn't even open a bank account if she didn't have permisssion from her father or husband.

Read it and weep you miserable, ungrateful c****s!

Right... and we are talking about Afghanistan, or how life used to be...

Fact Check: We are talking about now.

In the West, feminism was very necessary and it accomplished what it wanted but now it has gone too far. Women have equal rights now and there is no need for it anymore. What people should advocate for is rights for both sexes, feminists who fail to help men being discriminated against are just hypocrites, and vice-versa.

I don't think men are necessarily "angry" over the power shift, unless they are old. Because most of us I doubt really ever saw the change since we grew with it.

The problem with society today is that good looking women, can very easily get what they want.

In the end its just very basic, supply and demand. A good looking woman is what every man wants, so sides will be picked towards them, laws will be bent and decisions will be changed upon that. I don't think its as complicated as you all make it to be.

Good looking women have it easier, its fact. Is it fair? No.

Kinda like how minorities in the US are treated in many eyes better than their former oppressors, who are the majority?

When do I get to be property and just a sex slave, babysitter, housekeeper, and cook? Sounds interesting.

Does this mean that good-looking Jewish women should get the BEST treatment?

yes, I have, but I'm not the one that drags his name into this thread over and over and over. He calls me a beauty queen (as if that's an insult) and I call him a misogynist. You wanna jump in there and call me names as well and make passive aggressive snide comments, go for it. I don't understand why, but I also don't care.

If you want to make this thread about Mike specifically, go ahead. I'm not. I'm not gonna be a dick stomper to him.

And are you trying to say that if you like them (mike and mthare) they must not be misogynistic?

damn straight! Maternity isn't butterflies and kittens. Do you think the check you get is scented and decorated with flowers? Do you think it says "From the Secret Saintly Sisterhood Society" on it?

Its disability and you have to get a doctors approval. You get a disability check at a fraction of your pay. My husband had surgery and he got disability checks. I had a baby and got disability checks. After 6 weeks, he went back to work. After 6 weeks, I went back to work.

Both of us were entitled to it!

I didn't start this thread after butting heads with Mike. Hell, I do that all the time, so why not start this thread ages ago??

Why does it matter so much to some as to who? I think its a valid question as to why a person would be misogynistic.

People can feel free to start a thread about women, people from Michigan, mothers, beauty queens, college grads, etc. I suppose I can throw a fit each and every time about being targeted.
