    Right. But that's not what we identify as "qualia" in philosophical circles.
    Typically, "qualia" is used to describe experiential properties of an object..

    Qualia could be any number of experiences, it is a qualia to perceive the color red, it is a qualia to perceive touch, qualia is (what I understand of it) simply what it is like to experience something, we can't describe fully what it is like to experience something. Try explaining existence to the dead, sight to the blind (from birth). That is essentially what I perceive as qualia.

    Right, but as I said, you're confusing experience itself, with qualia involved in experience. Think of qualia as referring to properties of an object, and you're on the right track.

    Perhaps we can, in this regard, then think of different qualia of perceptions.
