I tend to do that. I guess I am just too practical to make such a proposal, even in jest. Hahaha, practical, if you knew me you would laugh too. Let me get out my crystal ball... ...It says that you are getting pressured by your family to settle down with that nice friend you have that you aren't romantically inclined towards. ...wait, it says your boyfriend doesn't want to move ahead in your relationship... oh, wait... it says you found a diamond ring in a frog's mouth. Damn, I've got to get this thing fixed... I have a lot of faith in the power of love.
One of the best movies I've ever seen. The ending really was very moving and I wept. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
But you are not too practical to talk about it, eh? There is a prince ... . What does this mean in practice? * * * I'm sorry. The show is over, you can go home now.
I thought this whole thread was just you asking for a laugh to cheer you up. I entertained the possibility that you had some other story going on to bring the subject up, but my crystal ball would not verify. That was a joke about me being practical. I just wanted to put my practicality out there with no quotes around it, but I am actually no more than 25% practical, at most. It means that I believe some people have few restrictions on what they can do. I am one of them, but unfortunately, those people usually have to contend with their greatest hindrance - themselves. Love tends to ameliorate my tendency to trip myself up, therefore resulting in more effective functioning, which means x thousands of miles becomes merely an obstacle. An obstacle is a small thing compared to a person's ability to overcome, if they are the type of person who has few restrictions on what they can do. How's that for circular reasoning?
