J Jonah Neitzsche ran his finger's through his depreciating hairline. In his right hand, and always in his right hand, was his favorite coffee mug. It was insulated, and would help keep any normal person's coffee warm. JJ was not normal however. His mind wondered, often, and he usually had to heat his cup up in a microwave several times at day because he kept forgetting to drink it. Now he was paralyzed with shock. This sleepy town's news was usually directed at thing's like who's pet died this week or how many egg's someone's overfed chicken could spit out. Occasionally a desperate dip into paying for something from the gossip queen's fragmented mind, if only for a diversion and to cause a stir. Now he'd actually have to work and was actually a little pissed. His old fixed-type press was insufficient for the new demand for the Plazma Times and he stayed up all night waiting for an emergency delivery of a newer(but still godawful old) press. He used the time to actually drink two coffee's and actually think. After about 10 minutes he just decided to blame all the newcomer's to the city. Not using names and through careful innuendo implicated several people, without any real threat of being sued for defamation. Certainly the Casino Owner AND his body guard are involved. The Guard, no doubt the trigger puller. The Weapon no doubt in the gun owner's shop, clean, with new serial number's and perhaps even modified ballistics. Though a celebrity in this town was ODD, even if they were involved, JJ decided they were good news and left them out of today's paper. He directed Dick and Jane to only write about the casino owner, his body guard, the gun owner and as a breaking news story to implicate the town's own travel agent whom is currently, obviously , trying to get the bodyguard away from questioning or suspicion. JJ never liked the stinky travel agent anyway. Hopefully the town would look over one of these people with great scrutiny.

The doctor hastily makes his way to his practice, repeatedly looking over his shoulder on his way there. Along the way he spots a police officer making out with a young woman down an alley.. it looks like the girl is trying to get away but the doctor is too nervous out in the streets to go check it out. In the distance he sees the travel agent and some beefy guy, that stands in front of the casino, exchange dirty looks. He shivers.. Finally he arrives it his practice. With trembling hands he unlocks the door, gets inside and quickly shuts the door behind him. The doctor greets his lovely assistant and instructs her to hold off any any patients today, except the really serious cases. Then he slips into his office. Settled in his comfy chair at last, he decides to make a call to the police station about his suspicions about the police officer and the girl in the alley. To his surprise he is rudely told off for reporting something this unimportant. The doctor shakes his head in disgust, what is this town coming too.. ?

The doctor picks up this mornings newspaper that his assistant put on his desk early this morning. On the front page is a somewhat incriminating article about the towns travel agent SAM. It is blatantly rumored in the article that the travel agent is trying to get rid of Steves bodyguard by offering him free trips out of town. The article speculates that SAM, the travel agent, may have some beef with the casino owner since he has an substantial debt at the casino and has been seen at the gun shop two days ago. The gun shop owner refused to talk but there were several witnesses that say SAM has bought at least two sidearms that day and had a big smirk on his face upon exiting the gun shop.
The doctor realized he should discourage patients from entering his practice and get a sheet of paper, some tape and a fat waterproof marker. He scribbles something down on the paper and then orders his assistant to put it on the front door.

Keep in mind that only 7 of the 15 players have been online yet. The mobsters may be not be voting until the end of the day. Also, since the non-mobsters have no clue as to who the mobsters are, discussing who is who doesn't make much sense yet, especially so for the mobsters. They only run a higher risk of accidentally exposing themselves. There are 5 mobsters in the game, I think few, if any, have posted here already.
Remember: Mobsters aren't allowed to PM each other during the DAYTIME. They can freely PM each other at NIGHT. No non-mobster players should be talking to each other by PM at all. All game-related discussion should happen right here in public during the DAY.
