Gotcha. I just read an article on scifi.com, it didn't mention tom being in the extra scenes. DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!!!
I dunno, but my LoTR club said there's something about Tom Bombadil. (Yes, a LoTR club. I have too much time.) Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Lol, whoa whoa whoa..Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! It's a club at school, not on the Net. I'd say pretty credible, because the coordinators are obsessed, and yep, it's official, being registered as a club at my school.
Yep. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! But officially it's the Sci-Fi club, not the LoTR club because the teacher sponsor wants to broaden the scope a bit. Last week we started watching the animated version of LoTR. Man, is it hilarious! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Gandalf is creepy, Frodo looks like a doll, Aragorn is Native American and Sam's character isn't at all what it's supposed to be! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! But there are soo many coincidences between the animated cartoon and the real life action movie. For example, the part where the Nazgul is sniffing for the Ring, and Frodo and his buddies are hiding under a tree root? Exactly the same in both movies.
good good, bad bad when it's good, it's real good. when it's bad, it's real bad. like FOTR was real good. TTT sucked royal.
Ive always found it a bit boring Thor. I do like the films though. Not as good as the Star Wars series!! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! (no offence any fans)
Lol! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! None, because we are the popular crowd. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
i wonder . . . with the "Two Towers" crowd being the popular crowd, i wonder how many people actually liked this flick as opposed to the people who "have" to like it because everybody else does. it's like, "yeah, this movie is great" because everybody else says so. is honesty truly dictated by numbers?
Re: i wonder . . . "Power in numbers" Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I personally like the movie a whole lot. I didn't see it because my friends wanted to; we all shared a common interest in LoTR. And the ones that didn't, they felt completely at ease to tell me they got bored to death and will strangle me if I started to promote any LoTR-related stuff around them. In a country of "free speech", we've all got "liberties" with what we prefer. It's just a matter of whether you're a sheep or a wolf in sheep's clothing. Or an oliphaunt, I don't care, go nuts. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! The only thing about majority decisions that bothers me is the Oscars/award shows. You've got a selected panel of bastards telling us that such and such is art, and the rest is crap. Award shows are asinine. They only serve to mold and structure our "tastes". I don't care if some movie won an Oscar; I don't see movies because everyone is absolutely in love with it, or that it got rave reviews. That's why I hate Ebert and Roeper. Here you have 2 human beings, telling us their opinions when I obviously don't give a crap what they think, because guess what? They are themselves, they can have their own opinions; I will prefer to have my own, and not have them broadcasted to me via TeeVEE, the altar of the 21st century. Ok, now I sound like an asshole. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Let's smooth this over. I accept opinions ... just not of celebrities who think they are gods (*coughs, and gester. In fact, I am very open ... just not to people who are not open. Does that make sense...? Gah. NOTE: I'm terribly sorry if I have offended anyone. But when I am enraged and rampant, I tend to run at the mouth and offended just about everyone within offense radius.
I really liked it and I'm looking forward to seeing Two Towers. You know what they say - there is no accounting for tastes. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Evil Squirrels Bloody leave my LOTR alone!!! It didn't do anything to YOU, did it Thor? And anyway, whose bloody fault is it that you don't appreciate it? Hmm. Tough question, eh? Ah well, it's just an opinion I guess, but it really gets under my skin. Bloody sorry. Cheers!
I can't wait to see "Return of the King." I've already read the book but the movies have been slightly different so I'm anxious to find out how the movie will turn out.
