"Lolicon (ロリコン, Lolicon?), also romanized as rorikon, is a slang portmanteau of the phrase "Lolita complex".[1][2] In Japan, the term describes an attraction to young girls,[3] or an individual with such an attraction.[4][5] Outside Japan, the term is less common and most often refers to a genre of manga and anime wherein childlike female characters are depicted in an erotic manner. The phrase is a reference to Vladimir Nabokov's book, Lolita, in which a middle-aged man becomes sexually obsessed with a 12-year-old girl.[6] The equivalent term for attraction to (or art pertaining to erotic portrayal of) young boys is shotacon.

I really don't care for it for watching children have sex isn't my type of entertainment. But there are those who enjoy sex with children, ask a Catholic Priest about that.

I think it's better than actual child porn. No one gets hurt, and the "sickos" can satisfy their urges in peace.

No its not, the mentally ill people cannot ever be "satisfied" with only cartoons, they want the real deal to satisfy their urges and desires.

I hate to ask. But what Are you basing this on ?
On my own judgment as to what has happened historically in the past. I think that anyone that wants to see children hurt or molested has a very serious mental problem and throughout history they seem to never have been satisfied with sex doll children or other forms of sexual pleasures except for the real deal. I don't have anything but a gut feeling about what I say, so it is only based upon my own conclusions about what I think about them.

It is right and it is needed. It's made for coping. When it is no more, they (the low level pedos) will revert back to CP. Children will then run the chance of getting hurt, or "labeled" victimized and by proxy hurt. Sickos, nope - orientation, yes. They wake up like Cylons all over the world, realizing what they are in various degrees. ...most low levels toasters. They are your family, neighbors, and friends. They are everywhere. A chuck are living in denial while shunning there own orientation, for shame. Ninety percent wouldn't hurt a fly. So give them there lolicon/shotacon, and label is a "odd fetish" if that puts your mind at ease. But know there is no cure because there is no disease. So, what can be done to protect the children from the 10% who might cause harm? "Drag them out into the street and shoot them? Lock them away forever? Treat them like second class citizens?" Nope. The threat of doing this to the 10%ers has only gotten children killed via the dead men tell no tales, thinking. So that doesn't work. So, leave the 90%er's alone there are more important things own government needs to be doing. What to do with the 10%ers? Well, I'll leave that question up to you.

In the US there is only one subject matter in art that is illegal, the erotic depiction of children. Children can be hacked to pieces all day long and that can be broadcast on every major network, no prob.
There basis for making it illegal is a slippery slope argument to children will be harmed due to it. There is no more truth to this than Marilyn Mason being the cause of Columbine.
Whether you find it sick or not means nothing in terms of a law. You must provide evidence that Lolikon causes harm to those who view it. This will never happen. But proof that it's illegal in the US is evidence of a pseudo-scientific law.

So you think it should be illegal? Scientific criminal theory is based upon whether an individual is being harmed by an act.
