With the old software, I used to need to login everytime I visited the site. I liked that for privacy reasons...Now all I have to do is use my computer to access sciforum and walaa, I'm automatically logged in...That's not good, because someone else can access my profile by merely using my computer. How do I make sure that I need to login everytime I use sciforum.

Log out and tell SciForums the next time you log in not to remember you. There is a check box next to the log in saying something like "Remember me?"

I leave it checked because I am too lazy to log in every time. And anyway I am not hiding anything.

Just because I feel like posting, to log out go to the SciForums index and at the bottom right it says "Log out [name]"
