It's kind of silly, but "leader" is a forbidden word in user titles. I can understand "moderator" or "admin" but "leader" is kind of silly and generic. What is the purpose? Thank you!
You should know it's down to the secret Illuminati that run the place, they were asked nicely by a bunch of aliens to ban "Leader" from the user titles, because every time a sciforum's member was approached by an Alien Ambassador, they started to twitter about the encounter like it was something they weren't prepared for. The Illuminati issued an Interplanetary Bulletin to tell such Ambassador's to stop asking to be taken to "your Leader". (In Seriousness, I'd guess it's down to some extension of the forum software that would have "Forum Leaders" and therefore its' a reserved word.)
Few words have been censored to avoid potential misuse (young and naive members could be tricked if members are able to place admin, leader, mod as their custom titles). And also... What Stryder said.
What about the word "banned" Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! You wanted to put "Gardens and Such group leader" under your username? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I was a little soused at the time, and your reply to my "Mac desktop items" seemed aimless and off-topic, so coupled with this "Illuminati" banter, I took it as an affront. My apologies to you if my short temper was undue.
That's allowable, isn't it? Ah! You mock my visions of having a vibrant community about gardening, plants, and whateversuch. Consider yourself warned.:blbl: I still have high hopes, but have shelved them for now...
