So I was moving a pallet of C&H Sugar last week and a jingle from my youth started playing in my head...

I mentioned it to a coworker and he started talking about a beer commercial that he could recall. I knew exactly which one he had in mind...

It's amusing how pop culture can hang in the human psyche for years, occasionally emerging when an association presents itself.

I've been thinking of the above because I spent a good part of the weekend learning to play a Beatles's song on my uke. Consequently, the song has been playing in my head, off and on, since.

You never see adds for sugar anymore. Which Beatles song? I just bought a 1929 Slingerland Maybelle banjo uke.

"If I Fell" I watched a bunch of covers on YouTube before trying it myself. It's an easy song to play on the uke. My problem is that the vocals are a bit too high for my voice.

LOL! NO, I'm old but not quite grey. I hope to have the same zeal when I reach his age, though

I saw a video of the same some time ago. Isn't Paul like in his 80's now?

George Harrison was crazy about the ukulele.
