also, the sky isnt necessarily overcast, it is white because there is no color. i am not dying it is a bad picture, but the leather jacket is not as good as was originally.
i am sure you know then, my mistake. to me it looks to be higher contrast than the rest of the image but it could just be the shiny leather. i notice that wikipedia makes an error on many linked pages. your link is saying that there is no page.
Personally, I think the expression on Guevara's face is a silly one. I see nothing appealing in it. But I know many people don't think the way I do. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Here's a rather interesting photo of Benito Mussolini, another Marxist that didn't live long.... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I've never seen that pic of Che. These would be two that come to mind. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
In the US and probably Japan then of course, but elsewhere I highly doubt it, most people in Europe probably aren't even taught about the war in the pacific, and I don't know how much of the rest of the world cares about American or Japanese history but I'd guess not much. Che would be recognised in a lot more countries, probably by anyone who went to college. Stalingrad was in WWII as well, but I bet if someone showed you a pic from Stalingrad you wouldn't recognise it, however a lot of Russians might, and probably Germans. Think about it, why would the rest of the world recognise it when it had nothing to do with them? We all learn about local history because it has the highest relevance to us, anything we learn about history from other cultures or parts of the worlds is in our own time and very few people are even interested in history. I know the picture but even then it took me a while to remember where it was from, and I couldn't have been sure.
