    I think she was just trying to say that our discussion of whether it is natural or not is moot. Whatever the cause or motive, it is still a crime.

    Both are relevant. Logically one would assume they were out to show they have power however who would show it through rape unless they had at least a slight urge for sex. This could also be an abnormal fetish of sorts.

    NO, I think she was just trying to put the issue in perspective, because it was starting to sound as if motive made a difference as to whether it was a worse or lesser crime, which it doesn't.
