First thing I could find on coronal holes:
Coronal holes are areas of the Sun's surface that are the source of open magnetic field lines that head way out into space. They are also the source regions of the fast solar wind, which is characterized by a relatively steady speed of approximately 800 km/s (about 1.8 million mph). As the sun continues to rotate, the high speed solar wind particles blowing from this hole will likely reach Earth in a few days and may spark some auroral activity.
That paragraph is from 2011; you showed us a larger hole than they were explaining.
NASA. "Holes in the Sun's Corona". Solar Dynamics Observatory Mission Page. 11 January 2011. NASA.gov. 22 December 2017. https://go.nasa.gov/2BQEhDm
Coronal holes ?
The " holes " are from the photosphere .
Just following up on the obvious:
The site Doesn't work Tiassa .
Well, maybe you could put a little effort into making sense?
Seriously, I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're on about.
Your link doesn't work . In your post #4 .
But I'm not surprised . The site is not what I expected . The site is not run , at least it doesn't seem so , by Nasa , or the Canadian government . Or any other institute .
Lets start again . Although I have more to say about the Sun .
Your thoughts .
Found this Belgium site ,
And this site
Coronal Hole , explaination
Oh. Okay. It's not supposed to. You posted a link ; I posted further information on what is in the linked photo; when you asked , I simply reiterated the term from your link in the topic post . The link in #4 is a fragment, not intended to work; its purpose is to highlight the term "cornonalhole" in the topic post link, which in turn is what I was following up on with the NASA page.
The question and comment in #3 tell me I was wrong to do so, but as such I no longer have any idea what this thread is about.
I was thinking more inline with sunspots !!!!
this coronal hole thing was new to me !!!!
you were right Tiassa . I apologise to yeah .
Separate names with a comma.
