Sometimes. Personally I think funny ones are the best. If they aren't going to make me laugh out loud, don't call me.
The best comics I enjoyed were about a character who said absolutely nothing. He's just "there" while life goes on around him (the common man) "You said it" by R K Laxman. Unfortunately hard to find online. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Common_Man
You should write a code for comic of the day and offer it for linking in blogs. That will really increase your visibility.
I'd rather wait till my cartoons have achieved some level of consistent quality. Can't wait till shichimenshyo finishes some cartoons. I would love to see them. It's always nice to see a cartoon develop.

killjoy would be a good cartoonist. He has a weird sense of humour and has already shown to have the talent to combine this humour with weird visualizations = cartoons.
so... where is the comic? On other news. One of the more interesting members has contacted me for a joint graphical project. I am hoping the results will be published soon on sciforums. keep your eyes open.
on a side note. today's comic saw the introduction of another deep character. a chicken. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! However, today's episode is a bit below the average quality, and tomorrow's will be even worse. The one after that will be extremely funny again (pffft). I therefore ask you the following? Are chickens not funny? Any ideas?
chickens and mice are just animals. stuff that can be shredded. unlike monkeys and bunnies. /shock /truth
they found a way to reduce the population density earlier on. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! http://spuriousmonkey.com/?p=99 bloody hell...98 cartoons already!
