I mean an observer of the universe as part of the universe. This effectively means the universe is observing itself.

Oh yes... Einstein said something alog those lines. He said, even though the observer exists somehow outside of spacetime, she was still part of the whole.

You see, this is why i hypothesize the human being, or the soul requires a energy. The projection itself was still on the imaginary dimensions wall. I like to go against what Morphic Fields say here, and rather say the human has an energy source which is infinite.

Well, you are entitled to your beliefs/views but lets keep the soul, God etc. out of this.
I just want to know if an object can be it's own observer (in this context).

    So....
Nobody knows the answer then.. ?

    To this question:

Can an object can be it's own observer ?

    Or in other words,

Can an object verify it's own existence ?

    1. Yes, theoretically.
    2. No, theoretically.

How is it that you get two different answer to essentially the same question ?

    That is not an explanation.
And I meant observer in the context of the thread.

    Can person observe himself?

Yes, I do it all the time.

Can a person verify to another person of his own existence?

    Yes.
Will he believe me? Well... that's up to him.

If Consciousness cannot be observed by definition, does it exist?

    Yes. How?

Because I would not be aware of the questions you are asking if it didn't.
