Remember, the longer it takes you, the smarter you are Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I am going to work on it. I do notice some patterns subconciously. I wish I could consciously point them thought :bugeye:
Ok so the only possible answers are 0,2,4,6,8 or10...only evens.... I have no clue as to how this works. umm..yeah
I was shown this once at a party, took me about an hour to finally figure it out. Just remember: the name of the game is "Petals around the Rose"...
How is that of any significance? the answer neve rstays the same....i know this is one of those pzzles that will end up making you feel stupid after you figure it out.
I refuse to spend any more time on itPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Does anyone wanna explain it to me? Via pm if you don't want to ruin it for lamos.
<brag> i got it before you Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! </brag> just buggin. that pissed me off when i didn't understand it, and it pissed me off even more at how simple it is. to hell with all your "subconscious patterns" and formulas. you're looking at the solution! like testify says, it's all in the name...
I can't believe Sciforums...members at sciforums don't get it. It is fairly easy, the answer sort of clicks....took me three hours.
That is pretty cool. It is very simple once you "get" it. Took 5 rolls before I noticed the pattern but I'd imagine it would've taken a lot longer to get if they didn't tell you the correct answer and instead would've just said your guess was wrong.
Like the name says...It's "Petals around the rose"! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Omg... I came back to this puzzle for 5 minutes... soooooo simple. I had an idea of what they meant by petals around the rose when I first looked at it but I did not put much thought into it. See, if they had always encouraged creativity and not so much the 3Rs in school, everyone should be able to find the solution to this puzzle, not start out (like I did) applying formulas. Nice.
lol althou i dont agree with that, but if true i would be King of the vacume heads, took me 8-12 min.
Yea, he might have said that to explain why it took him so long to solve. I mean, he has his Ph.D... This reminds me of some mathematician. He said the definition of genius should be one with any IQ of 180 or higher. He happened to have 180.
That's actually really easy. I know this sounds like just annoying-sciforums-bragging, but I got it in about 8 "rolls". I'm slightly confused as to how "the smarter you are, the longer it will take"??? Maybe my confusion is because I'm so dumb the puzzle was simple.
