No thought can be wrong in reality...

    Really?
A thought can be contrary to reality or impossible in reality: how "true" are those thoughts?

Name a thought that is contrary to reality.

Edit: I deleted my original reply, since the claim was yours.
    Please support it.
    Rationally.

This holds only if you maintain the philosophical perspective of common sense realism.
There are, of course, other philosophies to conceive of reality.

Note that a consistent common sense realist would not have questions like you do.

    Really?
Nothing to do with the counter example I first posted in my reply to NH.

But let's see what he comes up with...

I'm sorry - what was that example?

    What fairies and unicorns?

    That has been long settled...

Can you, or can you not, actually support your ridiculous contention?

    * Wynn: I edited my example out, since it's up to NH to support his contention rather than me to provide evidence that he's wrong.

Hello! "long settled" means I already did, but if you need a baby sitter it was post 77 in this thread.

By the way it isn't up to me to prove I'm wrong. It's up to you to prove I
    wrong.

    Wrong.

Oh you mean this piece of nonsense:
How does the word "could" support your case?
Posting supposition doesn't back up your claim.

    Correct.
It's up to you to show you're right.

Once again you're making a general claim and using a possibility to support it. Fail.

And we may never make fairies or unicorns.

So now you claim the universe thinks?

You are part of the Universe.
    You think.
    Therefore, the Universe thinks.

Besides, you have listened to the Beatles too much!
They may have been many things, but sound philosophy wasn't one of those things.

    Er, right...

    :runaway:

ANY listening to the Beatles is too much.
I've never liked them and avoided them whenever possible.

I'm sorry for making general claims in reality that only pertain to the future in a thread about change where reality seems to be such a touchy and incomprehensible idea that keeps changing as we go along.

Not with that attitude... Just find all the genes that grow wings and plant them somewhere among the genes that grow a midgets back. If we can do that differentiating a fetal midget from a regular fetus should be easy...

Though growing a horn on a horse would be easier.

Not what I said nor what I meant, but I guess if you want to get technical; You think and you are part of the universe, so yes the universe does think.
