Hezbollahs determination ahas led to a high deathtoll for Israels elite forcesc , explains why now Israel is pleading for a US led NATO force to occupy a buffer between them and Hezbollah . Yep you guessed it Israel starts it and others get to finish it .
An Israeli air raid struck a United Nations observation post and killed four U.N. observers in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese security sources. (CNN) So, Brian, is Israel deliberately killing UN members? Don't they want the UN to buffer them from the big bag Hezbolleme? Or is war just an indiscriminate tool? Still think they want to kill Lebonese?
How do you bomb a civilian area and still have regard for civilians? Pure, simple, cold-blooded murder. This is why they're regarded as worse than the terrorists: the same disregard for life and 1000 times the firepower.
How do you fight terrorists that hide among civilians? What do you call dropping leaflets to warn the civilians to flee? What do you call civillians that stick around in a war?
what are countries supposed to do about these paramilitary organizations? they deliberately hide in civilian areas. I think it is sad that these organizations, such as hezballa (sp?), resort to medieval warfare strategies.
Maybe because the terrorist have put their rocket launchers in the civilian areas, and are launching their rockets and missiles out of their neighbors back yards. Its not the Israeli who have a disregard for civilian life it Hezbollah, they planned to fight this way, and made a strategic mistake when they thought they could kidnap a Israeli soldier and kill 8 others and Israel would do nothing but negotiate, it was total stupidity on their part, and especially after what was happing in Gaza.
By invading the country and bombing 300 of them (one-third children)?????? After bombing bridges, buses, red cross ambulances, roads and TV stations?????? People turned away from the boats due to lack of any papers ? Injured? Those with no money, food, resources or knowledge of where to go or what to do???????? Only about 800,000 of them looking for humanitarian assistance
Not sure - but one way you definitely don't do it, in humanitarian terms, in political terms or in terms of the longer strategy, is by airstriking a civilian area. Standard humanitarian procedure. Stranded.
Sure, it would be better that 300 Israelis die? It would be irresponsible for Israel to let Hezbollah build up arms right across the border to threaten it's own civilians. It could be counterproductive for Israel, but that's their problem.
So you just let them kidnap kill and terrorize you people at will, the people to blame for this is Hezbollah, they didn't think this through, they thought the Israelis would roll over and negotiate, and the rest of the Middle East would blindly support them, total stupidity on their part especially after the reaction in Gaza, you have to know when not to kick the dog one more time or your gone to get bit and Israel is biting back and biting hard.
And what does Israel gain from this? Not the destruction of the Hezbollah, the Lebanese will support them now more than ever. They also lost their moral ground world wide and have given all the Arabs a reason to hate them even more. Plus they still have to live there, with the Palestinians and Lebanese next door.
They don't care that many Arabs hate them, they already do. It's a matter of security. Do you think the Arab militants have a moral high ground? They bribe the people they hide among with social services.
