    Re the muscular dog.
    He looks a bit grey round the muzzle.
    Old age, maybe. He could have arthritis.
    They do get that I think.

    I provided links to the phenomenon of double muscling.
    There is a picture of such a dog there as well.

    @Signal. Yes interesting links.
    I was suggesting arthritis as a reason why the dog looks as though it is in constant pain.

    Apparently double muscles are not an uncommon thing in racing whippets.
