If I understand your post correctly I am in agreement that religion and science need not be at odds with each other. (Although I am put off by your PG-13 language.) However your statement that the existence of God can be proven is nonsense! It is also BTW equally impossible to prove that God does not exist. To argue over such things is pointless and a waste of time. Why so much talk about religion in this conference anyway? Isn't it an "Astronomy" conference? I am about to give up and go away because I see little about Astronomy here. To bad!
