    {let's stir up some shit}
    Why do so many people feel they need to
    believe in God "OR" Evolution? Both are
    so close to being PROVEN it is only a
    matter of a few years before they are.
    What a shock wave that will bring.
    Will you accept it or will you denigh
    believing that the facts are true.

    There is a God
    and I can prove it - Dave

    Prove it. I have a 20 that says you can't.

    If I understand your post correctly I am in agreement that religion and science need not be at odds with each other. (Although I am put off by your PG-13 language.)

    However your statement that the existence of God can be proven is nonsense! It is also BTW equally impossible to prove that God does not exist. To argue over such things is pointless and a waste of time.

    Why so much talk about religion in this conference anyway? Isn't it an "Astronomy" conference? I am about to give up and go away because I see little about Astronomy here. To bad! The exosci.com news letter is an excellent source of information but frankly, I think the administrators have really let this board get out of hand!

    Can't it be that what we claim to be a god might be an extraterrestial? Proving this though may be a problem...
