General Motors Is Headed For Bankruptcy -- Again

Free market capitalism works very similar to Darwin's theory of evolution via natural selection. Like nature, it is supposed to compete with selection happening without artificial additives beyond the free market. Once government steps in it becomes unnatural selection and crony capitalism, which is more third world market than a first world free market.

Too big to fail is a chant connected to crony capitalism and not free market. In the free market the biggest does not automatically win, by rigging the playing field. It has to compete to win. If you prop up the biggest, so it can win, this is unnatural selection. The government bailed out GM, who is now back needing a new propping up, since the unnatural selection did not work in the free market.

The last bailout of GM was mostly to sure up unions and union pensions, than it was to help restructure in GM. What they need to do now, is what should have happened before; let it go bankrupt. This does not mean it will die, but rather it allows GM to deal with the union pension and debt in a more flexible way.

In the last bailout, Obama needed the votes from the union, so he can gave the unions tax money under the guise of helping GM. The unions, in term, returned some of this tax money as campaign contributions. It is part of a money laundering scam.

One way around this scan could be the rule that if you get tax money, you cannot make campaign contributions. This would end the gravy train, since with the scam unable to use the kickback step, there is less incentive to give away tax money into crony capitalism. The free market does better when government does not tinker using crony capitalism for campaign kickbacks.
