So if I don't keep with the regimen you have envisioned for me, then I am a "lying troll" who "won't accept accountability for anything I do" ...

You are acting codependent. It's apparent you can't fix me, and it irks you, so you find ways to write me off (such as accusing me that I don't take responsibility), instead of ignoring me.

You are trying to bring me to your level and understanding of religiosity, and you don't shy away from using Southern Baptist techniques of shaming and guilt-tripping.

They say one cannot beat an ignorant man - or woman - in debate. It's true!

you're not trying to understand anything. you've had plenty of people, thread after thread, tell you the same common sense things over and over again, and you ignore them and start another thread. claiming to be some victim and blaming everyone around you. trying to make other people accept responsibility for your own faith and your own fate. you demand it, and then blame them for your own failure. i don't buy it. i used to feel sorry for you because i've heard the horror stories of how it can be being brought up by uber-religious parents, or having a spouse or family member brow beat you about it, but ultimately IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make it stop, or to put up with it. and whatever you choose, it's your choice, and your fault.

i have asked you countless legitimate questions regarding your trumped up "plight" that you blatently ignore, because if you were to consider them and answer them, your problem might be solved, but YOU DON'T WANT YOUR PROBLEM SOLVED BECAUSE YOU'RE A TROLL.

    i don't like liars, and you're a liar.

Once the adrenaline had worked my way out of my system, I'd be very much at peace with that decision.

Hehe! Too bad nobody can ever take you baggage off you! At best maybe help you sort it a bit.
    If it were that easy...

Lori, Signal's doing Signal's thing. What it is I haven't figured out yet precisely.
If you are too frustrated to calmly answer someone's questions a thousand times, there's nowhere it says you have to.

    Let it go.

i've figured it out, and it makes me mad. but i have let it go. if i do post in his threads nowadays it's just to make fun of him, or to discuss something with another poster.

don't roll your eyes; do it. i have and he blantently didn't answer me, just as he has not answered a multitude of legitimate questions i've asked him. you know, i've had to learn to live with people not seeing things my way, trust me on that one. and i don't have a problem with signal having a problem with a lot of religious people and their attitudes and hypocrisy. what i have a problem with is this trumped up plight of his..."i'm a victim, i'm a victim, waah, and it's everybody else's fault." it's fucking bullshit.

Never gotten that from Signal. *scratches head*
Merely an inability to grasp something.
And I can't grasp precisely what it is that Sig isn't grasping either.

So Sig seems to go round and round, looking for this ungraspable thing.

I hope per trips over it at some point. But I seem to be powerless to find it. Meh. Or even define it precisely.
I dunno that Sig blames others, there's no hostility present. Just very puzzled and unhappy.
Some people can't be helped by oneself. Note I didn't say won't be helped, but can't.. One is not equipped.
I like to help people too, but I can't always do so.

Still sticking to your version of reality?
It's a fascinating facet of your delusion, but not an endearing one.

round and round for over 2 years. same thing, thread after thread. he's doing it on purpose. he's not looking for help. he's looking to stick it to people who say they have what he is allegedly looking for. i don't believe he's puzzled and unhappy; i think it's an act. that's why i think he's a troll.

i've also seen his hostility. my hostility is very blatent because i'm honest. his is generally in the form of evasiveness, and being unbelievably and intentionally obtuse, which is dishonest.

I know you sincerely believe that, and I see that it really makes you angry.
    It's the angry part I don't understand.
    I think...
It's something Sig desperately wants to grasp, but can't and for whatever reason, we can't give it to per.
Possibly due to severe emotional blockage or extreme programming.

But if you think per is a troll, don't feed the troll.

Let others have their own reactions freely, though. We all get to decide what we think and act on those decisions.
    I'm sorry you're angered.
I have to go work out now.

    Edited later to add:

I really seem to have a deep-seated desire to feel useful and to help others.
But from my own experience taking much-needed and very useful advice...

People take only that advice that they are ready and willing to take.

I got advice I needed, very distasteful...two years later, took it.

    Got better.
And none of us know much for certain, anyway, whether our advice is really good, or needed.
We're all bozos in the clown car.

    I'll shut up now, I'm bloviating.:shy:

Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good
of its victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live
under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies.
The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may
at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good
will torment us without end for they do so with the approval
    of their own conscience."
