You lot in britain, + we in the states, could probably have free fones on the national budget if we were all willing to pay a f%$K lot more taxes... A world were telecoms was free to everyone would be a real paradise for net rats + loners!
nothings free ever, someone pays. and you can get extremely cheap calls in the uk, do it through your computer.
meh, if i want to talk free then i just have a voice convo over the net, but the price for a call is so low that you dont really notice anyway
The price is low, but it’s still there, meaning that speech between two people on a telephone is not free. And you have to pay for the net, so Skype doesn't count.
everything that improves the quality of life for the general public should be for free (well, paid with taxes).
