Just set up some webserver like Apache for Windows and follow the instructions... that way people can access your drive by typing http://your IP here/FILENAME you could even buy a domain for maybe 20$ a year.. that way you can make a domain like www.leopold99.com act like your ip...

    archive your files?

megaupload i think allows much bigger files but it is a real pain in the arse being smothered with ads

WinMe is too insecure and unstable for Apache (imo)
I suggest you either use Serv-U or buy a hosting package at some host (maybe hostgator.com)

then get win xp from some bittorent network or something... btw, security and instability issues on ME don't really matter because hacking your computer wouldn't be of much use to anyone... also you can also run apache temporarily... I figure win me isn't suitable for 24h hosting and that's basically what they're saying.

The net is full of automated hack bots who do it regardless of any potential gain.

i've been reading about hackers and their motivations
the majority hack sites because they can, its a game to them
so i guess that means if you host a site and say it is the most secure you can be almost gaurenteed to get your share of hackers
on the other hand if you say your site is almost defensless hackers won't bother with it
