    Is such a thing possible with todays tech?

    The large scale picture is easy to imagine. Start there, then begin to explain the small scale.

    I'm big enough to admit that my claim of 'tightly packed neutrons' was something of a guess. The principle remains the same though; i.e. near maximum density matter that was formed before the big bang.
